On Getting Burned

So, I like to make lampwork beads...you know, torch, rod of glass, mandrel, kiln, the whole 9. In other words, playing with fire is my shtick. The only thing about that is that as the old saying goes, sometimes when you play with fire you get burned....and that's exactly what happened to me. Well, at least that's what happened to my fingernail. I totally burned the tip of it off. But check this, I didn't burn my finger. Just the tip of the nail.
